Decorative paint effects in Nottingham
Over the past 30 years I have developed a wide range of traditional craft skills, including decorative paint effects, which I use when I decorate period property or hand-paint kitchens or furniture.
I can create some stunning effects in conjunction with the Lincrusta Wall-coverings range, like this glaze and wipe effect to the Kelmscott pattern.Timeless and so much in sync with the more traditional property but equally transferable to give a modern, contemporary look.
As an example of my ability with faux finishes, this simple but effective wood graining technique transformed these tired black beams, (which made the ceiling look lower than it really was) into a much lighter pine effect finish. Giving the whole room a different look.
Distressed paint effects work well on ceilings, walls, wallpapers, skirting s, doors and trim, and are an eye catching feature to lift any surface out of the ordinary.
As part of the Traditional Painter network, Prime Decoration is able to call on the services of some of the country’s leading decorators. So when asked to decorate period properties and apply specialist paint finishes, however large the project, or complex the brief, I can deliver a consistently high level of service, with no compromises on quality.
